Candy,
Hi!!
I had a long talk with John and told him I would love to recommend his work and perfection for the business. He mentioned that I could also write something for the website...
Feel free to have anyone that is interested in a system similar to these needs...Call me!
All my best, Kemble
In short, the layout design and structured perfection that went into the Airflow System installation for our home is something I find hard to describe in such few words. The detail and attention to the homeowners needs was evident from the start...but, the way the workers performed around an existing home with large pieces of immovable furniture was very impressive. These guys care!
Having the Airflow crew virtually move in with you created a relationship that I personally had performed dozens of times with my restoration business...but, now I was the customer. Throughout this process I was in total admiration of their desire to keep our house spotless. Each day...each zone...was cleaned prior to leaving.
When I first contacted John he came out to our house and listened to what main objectives I had planned for our home. First, I was concerned with creating a duct system where the entire house could be heated with our woodstove. The dryness was also a concern and once we established that a filtration system was also needed...we added a humidifier for the dry air of the wood stove. His design called for returns that would be placed in the room of the wood stove. A fan only would be used during the cold months bringing moisture and heat throughout the entire downstairs with the heat them coming out of each duct in every room finally rising to the upstairs. And, of course, air conditioning for the summer humid days.
I have estimated the following:
The cost of oil next winter will be reduced by upwards of 80%. After one week of use the oil burner turns on solely for hot water. Our 3200 sq.ft. home is a constant 71 degrees and the cost of the Airflow system will be paid for in a few years.
Oil is still cheap. Oil is going to $300 a barrel in a few short years.
The air conditioning will now be my only major energy cost.
Don't even think twice about installing an Airflow system. With the moisture in the warm air traveling thru virtually every room in the house you can breathe 100% of the time through your nose. I've been heating with wood since 1973 and no amount of water boiling on a stove or from a humidifier in the house can compare to what this new system brings to our home.
The Airflow system will make me smile each time the leaves start to fall and sleep without the humidity during those humid nights.
